Thera are in Bali  about 1000 Swedish tourists  waiting the flight back to Swedn. Flights are cancelled  yet.

Where is Bali is there r alternative ways to travel  back  home from Bali?frpm, Bali to  Australia 1300 km. Thera are boats. 1300 is as long a journey  as from Helsinki to the uttermost  Northern point of Finnish lapland.  Lappland.

Renewed eruption of Agung volcano, Indonesia sent ash to an altitude of 30,000 ft. Exclusion zone increased to radius of up to 10 km from the crater. Agung was raised to highest level 4 alert.

A summit eruption occurred at Agung volcano, Bali, Indonesia, 21st November 2017. Small ash cloud rising 700 m above summit and drifting east. Five villages affected by the ash, including Pidpid, Nawakerti, Bukit Galah, Sebudi and Abang.

A summit eruption has been reported at Ambae volcano, Vanuatu. A new cinder cone formed in the summit lake, and a lava pond is visible. This is the first time a lava pond has been observed at Ambae volcano.

On 22nd September 2017, Agung volcano, Bali was raised to maximum level 4 alert. 35,000 people were evacuated. Previous reported eruptions of Agung were in 1963, 1843, 1821?, 1808. The last eruption in 1963 was similar in magnitude/intensity to Mt St Helens (1980) and Mt Vesuvius (79 AD).

Activity increased at Ambae volcano, Vanuatu on 23 September 2017. Ash emissions occurred from the summit. The alert level was raised to 4 (out of a maximum 5). Preparations were being made to evacuate up to 5000 people.

Agung Volcano, Bali, Indonesia
On 18th September 2017, Agung volcano, Bali was raised to level 3 alert (out of a maximum 4). People are advised not to climb or camp inside Agung crater, and in areas within a 6 km radius of Agung, or at elevations above 950 m from sea level. The exclusion zone radius is increased to 7.5 km in the North, Southeast and South-Southwest. An increase in earthquakes at the volcano is caused by magma pressure cracking rocks. The history of activity at Agung indicates the potential threats of pyroclastic falls, pyroclastic flows, and lava flows. Agung volcano last erupted in 1963. The eruptions of Agung volcano in 1963 created a crimson sunset glow over America and Europe.
