During the weekend, Russia sent an inquiry to other countries about possible help with fire-fighting equipment.
“We have made an inventory of our stores and are about to send a response,” says Lars Johansson, project manager for international operations of the Authority for Civil Contingencies.
What might be provided from Sweden are mechanical sprays, pumps, hoses, pipes, and similar for fire-fighting in the field. “We’ll also send a couple of instructors to show how the equipment works”, Johansson adds. (TT)
